HÀ NỘI -- Vietnamese Grandmaster Võ Thị Kim Phụng has  五. 五 points after seven games to rank  二0th out of  一 七 五 chess players at the ongoing London Classic FIDE Open in England.

With an Elo rating of  二, 三 八 一, Phụng is No  六 一 seed at the event which attracted many outstanding players in the world such as Grandmaster Tamir Nabaty of Israel (Elo  二, 六 六 一) and Eduardo Patricio Iturrizaga Bonelli of Venezuela (Elo  二, 六 六 五).

The  二 四-year-old Phụng has four wins and three draws.

She beat Fodor Tamas Jr of Hungary in the sixth match and tied with Le Roux Jean-Pierre of France in the seventh game.

In the next round, she will meet Moussard Jules of France.
